Connecting your Facebook Page to Carts Guru

Sending messages through Facebook is as simple as clicking Connect

1. Click on your website's icon on the left side-bar, and go to Site Settings -> Site Settings

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page

3. A pop-up will appear where we'll ask for permission to access your personal page, this is necessary so that we can see which pages you have admin access to

4. Once you've done that, select which page you want to connect with Carts Guru

Don't worry, Carts Guru will never send messages from your personal profile. We'll also never send messages from your page without your permission.

Important note: even if you already have Facebook connected with your back office, you still need to follow these steps and connect separately with Carts Guru. Go to: http://app.carts.guru/ 

Having Trouble Connecting? Troubleshoot!

Make sure you have the proper Facebook permissions.

Connecting Carts Guru to a Facebook Page requires Admin access. Please ask a page Admin to give you the proper permissions or have an Admin user connect the page.

Not sure if you have admin access?

Login to the personal profile that you believe has Admin access to the page. Then, navigate to the page and click Settings, then Page Roles. All page Admins should be listed there. You should be able to see the personal profile of the page you're logged on as an Admin.

Are you using a pop-up blocker on your browser?

Pop-up blockers may prevent the Carts Guru Facebook permissions window from display. Temporarily disable your pop-up blocker to allow the permissions to display.

Is your Facebook Page new?

When you signed up for Carts Guru you may have only allowed your existing Pages to be connected through the Facebook authorization process. To connect your new Page, please visit this page.

From here, check the box next to Carts Guru and click Remove. A confirmation window will appear, after which you have to click Remove once more.

Then, go back to your Carts Guru dashboard and reconnect your page. You'll have to click Edit Page and then select your page from the dropdown menu.

Since Carts Guru is associated with a Facebook account, you need to allow all the pages that you want connected with Carts Guru.
