A Carts Guru multichannel campaign is one that combines the mediums of email, SMS, and Facebook messenger to find your audience where they are and target them on their most-used forum.
Customers are individuals and need to be treated as such. Using multichannel campaigns is a great way to ensure that you reach each individual customer or prospect in the most effective way to boost engagement with your marketing efforts and drive sales.
To create a multichannel campaign, simply follow these steps:
1. Create a list - First, you will need to create the list of contacts you want to be reached in your campaign. This list can be static (meaning you have to add contacts manually), or dynamic (where contacts are automatically added when they meet certain criteria). If you want to reach out to your whole contact list, simply head to lists and create a list without any context filters.
2. Create a template - Next, head to Templates and create any email, SMS, or Facebook messenger templates you want to use throughout your campaign.
3. Build a campaign - go to Campaigns then ‘add campaign’. Next, you need to name your campaign and set a goal. The way you choose to configure your campaign is up to you and depends entirely on what the purpose of your campaign is. Once you have built your ideal campaign, add the list you created before and click save!
4. Design your workflow - Once you are taken to the workflow page you can start your customer's journey. People often worry about online marketing campaigns pestering their potential customers, so you can use things like ‘delays’ or ‘conditions’ to ensure that this doesn’t happen. The fact that you’re contacting your customers across multiple channels instead of just the one also minimizes this risk.
The workflow is where you create the multichannel aspect of your campaign. Build and customize your workflow however you like. You may start by sending an email, so click ‘actions’ then ‘email’ and select the email template you created earlier. You can then target customers who didn’t react to the email with an SMS or a Facebook Message.
Within the workflow, you have the ability to input triggers, conditions, or delays, to customize your multichannel workflow. This allows you to send messages at the right time, to the right people, and through the right channel.
Once you have finalized your workflow just click save and you’re ready to launch your multichannel campaign!
