On Carts Guru you can manually opt-out a single contact or a group of contacts if, for example, you want to opt-out from marketing communications a list of contacts that unsubscribed in other tools you are using.
How to manually opt-out a contact
Important: Carts Guru automatically opts-out a contact whenever they have unsubscribed or communicated that they want to stop receiving communications from you. If you want to manually opt someone out, follow these instructions:
1. Go to Contacts.
2. You will see a list of all your contacts. Click on the user you would like to opt-out.
3. In the right side of the screen, you will see a section with the contact's details. Go to Communication Preferences, where you will find the email and SMS opt-in preferences.
4. If the button is green, it means that the contact is opted-in and will receive communications.
5. To disable this, just click on the button next to the communication you want to opt the user out of.
How to opt-out a group of contacts
If you want to opt-out a group of contacts, you'll need to have a .CSV file containing their email addresses or phone numbers. The next step will be to import that CSV file and in the last step of the import process, choose to import those contacts as "Unsubscribed".
