How to create an automatic coupon code

To create an automatic coupon code, go to the menu bar, click ‘coupons’ and ‘add coupon’.

Next, choose 'automatic coupon creation'. These are one-time coupons that will automatically expire two weeks after the creation date. We will stop sending them one week before the expiration date and move on to the next discount that will also be generated automatically. This happens so that customers still have time to use the discount if they open communications after one week of having received them.

Next, choose the field type, which will either be a discount or free shipping. If you choose discount you will then need to select a value of the discount - this will be done in a percentage. Now just label the discount and click save.

The platform will automatically generate an alphanumeric coupon that will be generated on your back office as well.

If instead of a random coupon you want to show specific wording such as "Welcome", you should opt for a manual coupon code.
